Skin conditions-acne?

i have really bad sistic acne and everytime i get stressed i break at super bad. does anyone else have any suggestions? or anyone else have this problem?

Skin conditions-acne?
You need to see a dermatologist. Acne is caused by your sebacious glands overproduction of oil and clogging of your pores. Accutane is a way to basically stop this production. Stress increases the production of oil and you need to go to a licenced dermo and get treatment or your skin will scar.
Reply:Get proactive or get a dermatologist. Thats all I can say
Reply:use proactive it worked great on my skin
Reply:use the aveeno daily cleasing pads, they are great for acne.. u can get them at walmart...... plus try drinking more water and less soda
Reply:Wash morning and night and try looking for some vitamin supplement. Special facewashing stuff never worked for me but I'm fine now.
Reply:The best acne product I have ever used is called clear.now. My face has improved so much since I began using it -- it's better than proactive.

You can't get it in stores but you can order it at www.jewel.mychoices.biz

All the best
Reply:There's a medicine called Clymadycine Phosphate that works really well, but it's perscription only, so you'll have to ask your doctor. Also, wash your face with a solution 2 parts water, 2 parts Isopropyl Alcohol. Believe me, it'll help so much.
Reply:you should boil water, put your head on top of the pot so that the vapor can open your pores, get a cotton ball and put some rubbing alchohol on it and rub your face with it, and then wash it with cold water so your pores close up again. trust me, it works
Reply:You need to see a dermatologist, cystic acne is the type needing to be treated from within. Proactiv might work for a little while or Acne Free (the same as proactiv but available at Walmart, CVS, etc.. works better too) however being since it is biological you need to take medication. They give you antibiotics for that sometimes.
Reply:Hello,

I am a witness that PROACTIVE really does work. It doesnt hurt to try, and its really not that high in cost.

Good Luck
Reply:I had acne very bad as teen... try not to get so stressed I know its hard sometimes... but I used phserderm skin cleaner and try to control oil ... mine went away at 18 but now im 35 and have scars for life :( unless I get plastic surgery :( $$$
Reply:Not Dr - cystic is new 2 me %26amp; I had acne 35 yrs. Patiens, check directions make sure treatment done correctly. May be use too much stuff what-ever won't help. Try 2 use sparingly. B gentle %26amp; try more than daily work-out. Hope U find some help. Good luck.
Reply:drink water!!!!!! also, use a soft cleaser, i really didn't like the proactive solution. it was really harsh on my skin. i would use aveno daily cleansing pads or just aveno soap, it is really nice to irritated skin, i love it. also, try to cut out greasy foods, sugar, and soda stuff, it can REALLY make your already stressed skin worse. yes, i guess that is all i can say, i too suffer from stress related acne, and i am under a lot of pressure with family and stuff, but this is what i do and it helps a lot!!! good luck! and happy holidays! i hope i help you out some what!
Reply:Cystic acne is a tough one, you can try Accutane which is your best option but it also comes with serious and sometimes permanent side effects, it is a last resort.

You might want to try Retin-A Micro it is a lot gentler than the other two forms of Retin-A. There is nothing you are doing wrong to cause these forms of cysts and really nothing you can do to prevent it other than trying different treatment options like Ive listed.

You need to talk in depth with a dermatologist who can surgically remove the present ones if necessary and prescribe something that will help you... (This is the only way to get rid of them but is not a guarantee they wont return. You have to weight the pro's and con's of the scar vs removal)
Reply:There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
Reply:If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action.

Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past!

Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.

Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:
