Prozac and skin conditions?

I have roscea, a skin condidtion, was given cream last year. Coincidently at roughly the same time I was described Prozac for depression. For the past year my skin has been very good but has broken out again in recent weeks. I have stopped taking the anti-depressants from early January. I know skin rash is one of the side effects of taking Prozac but I wonder did it inadvertantly help my skin while i was taking it. I have not seen anywhere where it has helped with a skin rash but I wonder did anyone find the same happen to them.

I looked at the company's data sheet and it doesn't look a very likely side effect.

Reply:i used to take prozac but i never found it helped my skin, although i did used to have really bad skin and now i dont so im not rele too sure!!! but hey at least 1 good thing *** out of anti - depressants :) xx
Reply:i find that e45 helps with skin conditions or aquaeuos cream. ive never known prozac help with skin conditions

many side affects can happen from meds, dont stop your meds go to the Dr who gave you these pills and he/she can give you something that won,t have this side affect ok
Reply:Why not fix your Roscea and Depression at the same time? Neither are your natural self. You aren't made that way.

Reply:Skin rash is one of the side effects of Prozac. If it occurs, the doctor should be informed immediately.
