yeah...i forget what it's called...ah...my friends cat had something like that...they put her on medicine, and i guess that helped a lot...
Reply:It could be any number of things, from a fungal infection like ringworm, or an allergy from food or just skin dermatitis. Have your vet check him out, and get him there as soon as you can-not emergency-but so it doesn't get out of control. Good luck
Reply:i had an elderly cat who had arthritis and was in a lot of pain, he would chew off tufts of his fur.....your may also have a skin condition (allergy?)......take him/her to vet
Reply:he might have a disease from bugs or something he got in to. Take him to the vet and get that checked out.
Reply:Definitely. It can be an allergy or even a nervous issue. Best to see your vet or a animal natural therapist.
Reply:It could be an allergy to fleas. I had a cat who had fleas and was losing a lot of fur. I took him to the vet and he diagnosed it immediately. He gave me some medication to treat the fleas and the hair loss stopped.
Reply:Yes, cats get skin conditions. Or they might be suffering from fleas causing them to scratch so hard, fur starts falling off with the fleas.
